AnyViewer Posted By @AnyViewer December 13, 2024

When you work at home for some reason and need to remote to the company's computer, your operations, important files, or privacy on the computer’s pc don’t want to be seen by others in the company. Or you don’t want to be “surrounded”. It's easy to use AnyViewer to remotely access a company’s computer from a home computer, Android device, iPad, or iPhone. Anyviewer provides the privacy screen functions to achieve this.

Before using these function, you should use the same AnyViewer account to log in to both computers and bind the device to remotely connect.

▶ Privacy mode

AnyViewer Privacy Mode can protect your data from leakage and keep your work invisible by blackening the remote PC and disabling the remote keyboard & mouse click when in remote connections. With this feature, the data and privacy can be protected sufficiently.

Privacy Mode(1)

Privacy Mode is the equivalent of disabling all three of these features of the Remote Window at the same time: disable the mouse and keyboard of the recipient, black the screen of the recipient, and lock the device when disconnected.
Also, you can see the difference with function Blacken screen of the recipient.

▶ Blacken screen in remote access on Windows computer

Step 1.  On your controller’s pc, go to the controller toolbar and click Operation----Black the screen of the recipient.

Back Screen

Step 3. The recipient's pc will become a black screen, and your colleagues or roommates can not view content on this pc.

Difference:
(1) Privacy mode allows you to select 'Connect using privacy mode' before initiating remote one click control. Therefore, privacy mode only applies to devices that log in to the same account.

(2) The Black Screen of the recipient function is set under the is set under the "Operation" button in the remote window after connecting.

(3)If the computer only goes black (black the screen of the recipient), it is equivalent to entering screensaver mode, and the recipient's end can still click the mouse or keyboard to light up the screen.

(4)If the remote connection to the computer is in privacy mode or all three options in the picture are checked at the same time, then the recipient side can't use the mouse or keyboard to light up the screen, and the device will continue to be locked after the remote connection ends.

In short, the AnyViewer privacy screen can make the company’s computer black and provide you with definite privacy guarantees when you remote your company's computer from home. In addition, you can also  access the computer in Privacy Mode to protect your data and privacy security during a remote session.
